Kevin Owens has declared that his return to WWE television is now in the company's hands, suggesting, perhaps, that his injury issues are almost behind him.

The former Universal Champion has been out of action since being pulled from the 27 June Raw. Owens was due to face rival Ezekiel on that show, with a spot in the then-upcoming men's Money in the Bank match on the line, though WWE's announcers claimed that the clash had been rescheduled without mentioning a reason.

It later emerged that KO was dealing with a minor injury necessitating a period on the sidelines. Now, in an appearance on the NHL Network, Owens has said his comeback is "in their hands now."

This follows Dave Meltzer stating on the 10 July Saturday Night's Main Event podcast that Owens was "fine" and would likely be back in WWE within the next few weeks.

Kevin has been feuding with Ezekiel effectively since the night after WrestleMania 38, when the former Elias returned to television under his new guise. It's conceivable that the feud could be resumed whenever the promotion decides to bring Owens back, though recent weeks have seen Ezekiel rubbing shoulders with the likes of Seth Rollins on Raw.
