Grayson Waller's streak of getting into it with WWE legends could be set to continue at SummerSlam 2023.

WWE insider account WRKD Wrestling reports that plans have been drawn up for Waller to be involved in a segment with a company legend over SummerSlam weekend. The premium live event itself takes place in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, 5 August.

There is currently no word on who Waller might tangle with, though the appearance would follow recent confrontations with Edge and John Cena, the latter of which took place at Money in the Bank 2023 (1 July). WRKD notes that this interaction was particularly well-received backstage.

While nothing is set in stone, ideas have been pitched to have a SummerSlam weekend segment between Grayson Waller and a WWE legend. Reactions backstage have been very favorable for the young star’s segments with John Cena and Edge.

Waller is still a relative newcomer to WWE's main roster. Drafted to SmackDown from NXT in April's 2023 WWE Draft, he has been with the company since March 2021, having made his name on the Australian independent scene as Matty Wahlberg.
