Update On Sasha Banks & Naomi's WWE Roster Status

Rumours continue swirling on Sasha Banks and Naomi's potential WWE returns.

Sasha Banks and Naomi's names remain prominent fixtures in the pro wrestling rumour mill, particularly in the wake of WWE's recent behind-the-scenes upheaval, but it doesn't sound like anything has changed regarding their roster status.

Fightful Select noted in their pre-Raw report on WWE's plans for last night's show that Banks and Naomi have not been added back to all of the promotion's internal roster listings. It was noted, too, that the former Women's Tag Team Champions were never removed from the public-facing WWE roster page.

Banks and Naomi have been absent since walking out of a Raw taping in May, leaving their Women's Tag Team Titles on then-Head of Talent Relations' John Laurinaitis' desk. This followed an unproductive meeting with Vince McMahon over creative frustrations.

WWE announced on that week's episode of SmackDown that it had not only stripped Banks and Naomi of the Women's Tag Team Titles, but suspended them indefinitely as well. Neither woman has returned to WWE television since then.

That Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, and Nick Khan's ascent to power could enhance the chances of Naomi and Sasha returning has been speculated since July, when Vince McMahon resigned as WWE Chairman and CEO.
