Update On This Week's Botched WWE SmackDown Live Segment
Women's Tag Title match or no Women's Tag Title match, that is the question.

Coming out of this past Tuesday’s WWE SmackDown Live, many viewers were left scratching their head at what exactly was going on with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
On this week’s episode of the blue brand show, a backstage segment saw Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville both say different things. Let us hazily take you back to the slightly wonky back-and-forth between Mandy and Sonya.
Sonya Deville: “Are you saying next week we have a Women’s Tag Team Title match?”
Mandy Rose: “Yep, and if we win, we deserve a Tag Team Title Match.”
Okay then.
Fans were left perplexed as to whether this duo’s match next week against The IIconics is for the gold, or whether it’s simply a match that could line Rose and Deville up for a future title shot.
In a new report from Wrestling Observer Radio, the segment between Mandy and Sonya was shot live and so wasn’t edited beforehand.
Even worse, the pair are said to have spent all afternoon running through their lines for this segment. Only to then, of course, see things go horribly wrong on live TV.
It’s yet to actually be clarified by WWE as to whether it’s the actual titles or simply a title shot on the line next week when Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville face off against Peyton Royce and Billie Kay, but there is speculation right now that this could all be leading to a triple threat match at SummerSlam that would also see the Kabuki Warriors pairing of Asuka and Kari Sane added to the mix.
