WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is down on Shayna Baszler and that's why she's recently been pulled from TV, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
In a recent report by Fightful Select, it was revealed that the former NXT Women's Champion isn't injured or suffering from the current global situation. Instead, her lack of television presence is simply down to the fact WWE creative simply have nothing for her right now.
Yet, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is now reporting that McMahon never conceptually grasped the in-ring style that an MMA performer should use in the squared circle and this is why he's not invested in Baszler at this moment. It was also noted that Baslzer doesn't 'check his buttons' when it comes to women in professional wrestling.
This has led to her push being completely nixed and Baszler not being seen on WWE television since her victory in a Monday Night Raw Submission Match with Natalya in May.
With Raw's women's division losing both Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch over the last few weeks, now is surely the perfect time to give new stars like Baszler and Bianca Belair a chance to make a name for themselves. Yet, it appears McMahon would much rather trot out Nia Jax and Lana than invest in some vital new talent.
