Update On WWE's Return Date For Charlotte Flair

It shouldn't be too long until you're seeing Charlotte Flair on WWE TV again.

Charlotte Flair is expected to return to WWE imminently.

The Wrestling Observer reports that WWE chiefs and creative team members are currently sitting down to thrash out plans for Charlotte's TV comeback on Raw or SmackDown. Flair hasn't been spotted on screens since May when she was written off television to go get married.

WWE's official word back then was that Charlotte suffered a "broken radius" (arm) due to attacks from then-rival Ronda Rousey. That needed significant time to heal, so the company told fans that she'd be out "indefinitely".

Now, plans are being put together for her long-awaited return to action.

It'd make sense if Charlotte went straight after Ronda again. Rousey has been flying high as reigning SmackDown Women's Champion, and has formed a tandem with fellow ex-MMA fighter Shayna Baszler that's been cast as dominant.

Flair returning to threaten that makes sense, but it would mean that Charlotte would probs have to play babyface. That's something Flair herself has admitted she isn't keen on. However, it might be the only way. The alternative, of course, is announcing her for January's 30-woman Royal Rumble match and going from there.
