Bray Wyatt and LA Knight will collide in WWE's first ever Mountain Dew Pitch Black Match at Royal Rumble 2023 this Saturday (28 January) - and it sounds like the promotion has some wacky gimmicks up its sleeve for the occasion.

Fightful Select reports that the bout is set to incorporate "neon elements" at Royal Rumble 2023. There is currently no word on what, exactly, this entails, though WWE has staged run-throughs for the clash ahead of Knight vs. Wyatt.

The bout is sponsored by the Pitch Black flavour of Mountain Dew, which you never would have guessed by its title. Introduced as a limited-time release in 2004, the drink has been brought back several times over the years, with the latest re-release coming on 16 January.

The contest is set to be Bray's first television bout since returning to WWE last year. Having previously been inactive since WrestleMania 37 in April 2021, the former 'Fiend' worked a quartet of house shows opposite Jinder Mahal in December 2022, suffering a suspected finger injury in the process.

Wyatt revived his old Firefly Fun House segment on last week's SmackDown, continuing his spooky pursuit of Knight.
