Ups & Downs For Every AEW Roster Member
16. Rey Fenix
Up
One of the best Dynamite matches so far against Nick Jackson in November 2019. A state-of-the-art high-flying battle between two of the greatest to ever hit the skies.
Down
The Lucha Brothers faded away after initially looking like they'd become one of the most important tag teams on the AEW roster, with Death Triangle's pre-pandemic dissolution hindering them further.
15. Penta El Zero M
Up
Penta's two matches with Rey Fenix were on par with any others singles bout of his career, including vs. Kenny Omega at ALL IN.
Down
See Fenix's entry.
14. Lance Archer
Up
Archer's initial run to the TNT Championship tournament finals made him look like the most threatening force in all of professional wrestling. AEW nailed his introduction, 100%.
Down
The Cody Rhodes match was good, but overcooked and overbooked, falling short of lofty expectations as a result.
13. Mr. Brodie Lee
Up
Proving himself every bit the pro-wrestling mastermind Arn Anderson has put him over as by crafting some of the most compelling and effective layouts AEW has seen all year and revitalising the lagging Dark Order. The Cody Rhodes squash was the right kind of shocking, too.
Down
Debuting in the middle of a global health crisis and being hot-shotted into a feud for Jon Moxley's World Title, though the match redeemed this somewhat.
