Venue Confirmed For IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory 202
A return to Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas is on the cards for IMPACT Wrestling's next pay-per-view.
As had previously been reported by Fightful Select, IMPACT Wrestling's 2021 Bound For Glory pay-per-view will indeed emanate from Sam's Town Live in Las Vegas.
IMPACT sent out a press release on Friday afternoon confirming the news, while also confirming two further dates for television tapings - 24 and 25 October at the same venue. Scott D'Amore, IMPACT's Executive Vice President, issued the following statement:
"In 2021, IMPACT Wrestling pay-per-view events have not only thrilled fans with some of the greatest matches in the 19-year history of this promotion, but also stunned audiences around the world by attracting elite performers from the four corners of the wrestling world."
The move will mark IMPACT's first time outside of Nashville's Skyway Studios since April 2020, with the venue becoming the new IMPACT Zone through the ongoing global b*stard. It will also see the company's first pay-per-view to take place in Las Vegas, although they have previously used Sam's Town Live for television tapings on a few occasions, the most recent of which was in February 2020.
Though no matches have yet been confirmed for the event, expect the card to take shape following 18 September's Victory Road special on IMPACT Plus.
A reminder, also, that the event will begin at the later time of 10pm EST (4am for those in the UK) to allow fans to watch both Bound For Glory and a special Saturday episode of AEW Dynamite.
