WWE have assembled a stacked card for next week's episode of SmackDown, with Vince McMahon's return taking top billing.

The Chairman hasn't appeared on WWE television since 3 April, but will be at next week's show in Las Vegas, Nevada to address the issues between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens. The announcement was made at the tail-end of last night's broadcast, during which Shane was suspended following an assault on KO.

The Commissioner's attack was provoked by a blistering promo from Owens, who not only insulted his family, but stated they'd have been better off if Shane hadn't survived his helicopter accident earlier in the year. Vince phoned General Manager Daniel Bryan to issue the suspension later in the night.

It's highly likely that Vince's appearance could see Shane vs. Owens booked for 8 October's Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, as has been suggested in recent months.

Next week will also feature a trio of title matches, with Naomi challenging SmackDown Women's Champion Natalya, The Usos putting their Tag Team Titles on the line against The New Day, and AJ Styles granting Tye Dillinger a shot at his United States Championship.
