While some wrestling fans are still struggling to get to grips with the fact that Piper Niven's WWE main roster bow saw her name changed to Doudrop, Vince McMahon is said to be a huge fan of Doudrop and the ongoing storyline between her and Eva Marie.

As per PWInsider's Mike Johnson on The We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show, the belief is that audiences will be seeing a lot of Doudrop and Eva due to how much Vince enjoys this pairing.

Johnson states that McMahon wasn't sold on the initial idea of putting All Red Everything and the NXT UK standout together, but that VKM was instantly won over after the first week that the pair were seen together on WWE television.

In particular, it's noted how the WWE Chairman has been "super impressed" with Niven and her facial expressions.

Despite some fearing the Doudrop name positioned Piper Niven as dead on arrival when she turned up on Raw last month, it's hugely encouraging to hear that Vince McMahon is a big supporter of the Scot. And regardless of those initial concerns over Niven's name change, one has to imagine that the Doudrop moniker is merely a temporary one - especially when looking how this ongoing story has played out over the past few weeks.
