Former WWE boss Vince McMahon was involved in a nasty car crash incident in July 2025 that resulted in a $1,000 dollar fine and a mandatory one year probation period. PWInsider reports that McMahon has since completed that probation and all charges have been subsequently dropped.

The court case is now officially closed and this is something Vince can put behind him.

McMahon was charged with reckless driving after he smashed into another person's car. The victim, a lady called Barbara Doran, posted on her Facebook page at the time to say she was "lucky to have survived a horrific car crash". Doran also noted that "both front wheels of McMahon's Bentley were sheared off, and his airbags deployed, probably saving him from significant injury".

Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured in the incident, but Vince was issued with misdemeanour summons afterwards. Judges ruled that he'd pay a fine then enter probation - if he steered clear of any further trouble (and was properly insured) for the next 12 months then he'd be fine.

The $1,000 fee was a charitable donation, but it's unclear exactly which charity got the cash.

Images of McMahon's car at the time drew a lot of attention, naturally. It was in some state, and there was video footage from the Connecticut State Police showing the former wrestling kingpin complying with officers at the scene. He seemed a little shaken up, which is understandable, but was also grateful that nobody was hurt.

Again, the case is now closed and everyone can move on.
