With disgraced former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon celebrating his 80th birthday with a lavish party last month, the Godfather has now provided a few more details on this celebration.

Speaking on his Poddin' Ain't Easy show (via f4wonline), the one-time Intercontinental Champion described how Vince bizarrely wore a suit that resembled Austin Powers villain, Dr. Evil.

As Godfather explained:

"I'm like, 'Vince, thank you for inviting me.' He goes, 'Charles, I just want you to know there's nobody here that's not my true friend.' And we talked for a second, and then we walked in, but he had on, like, a Dr. Evil suit. I didn't want to say it to him, but, first of all, he looked better than when I've seen pictures of him lately. He looks a lot better than that. He's walking a lot better than that. He introduced me to his girlfriend or whatever she was, but I thought, Dr. Evil, you're Dr. Evil."

The former Papa Shango continued:

"I go in, everybody, of course, is talking to Vince. He gets to me, and 'Taker [and I] are talking, and Kane, and [Vince] walks away, and 'Taker goes, 'Dude, Vince looking like Dr. Evil.' I'm like, 'Dude, that's exactly what I was thinking!'"

McMahon's birthday party took place over the weekend of 22-24 August at the Baccarat Hotel in New York, with live performances also taking place at Gotham Hall. There was a cocktail party on the Friday, which is when the Godfather ran into Vince in that Dr. Evil-esque suit. Godfather also noted how no phones and cameras were allowed at the cocktail party, so it remains to be seen if there are any pictures of McMahon in his unique get-up.

As previously reported, McMahon's party was intended to be kept secret, but details leaked out online, not least due to Jerry Lawler briefly sharing a photo of himself there with certain WWE faces - a photo that was soon deleted.

WWE had no direct involvement in the celebrations, though the company's stance was to let talent make their own decisions on whether they wanted to attend. On that topic, among the WWE-associated names who did attend were John Cena, JBL, Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Miz, Maryse, Titus O'Neil, Bruce Prichard, and the aforementioned Undertaker, Kane, and Lawler.

For those of an age where they're questioning who Dr. Evil is, that's the main villain of the Austin Powers trilogy of movies, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997), Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999), and Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002). Played my Mike Myers - who pulled double-duty as Austin, too, as well as triple-duty at times as Fat Bastard - Dr. Evil is a play on various James Bond rogues, most notably Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

Vince McMahon and WWE are currently involved in a lawsuit brought against them by Janel Grant, where Ms. Grant alleges, amongst other things, sexual assault and sex trafficking.
