Vince McMahon HAPPY With WWE: "Nothing Is Going To Change"

The Chairman remains pleased with his product in spite of factors.

Vince McMahon "doesn't think there's anything to fix" with WWE at the moment,

That's according to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, who was reiterating comments from sources close to the WWE chief during a recent Q&A. As he put it in answer to question about the lack of obvious stars/enjoyable stories beyond Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns;

“In his mind, he doesn’t think anything is wrong...we are told he pushes and presents what he likes and wants and nothing else makes a dent in that vision. That’s why the shows are presented the way they are and that’s why nothing is going to change anytime soon, if ever.”

Declining audience and attendance numbers as well as the subjective dislike of much of WWE's output from many corners seemingly isn't troubling McMahon, not least considering the billions of dollars he continues to make from the enormous rights fee agreements for Raw and SmackDown, an ugly arrangement with the Saudi Arabian Sports Authority, and ruthless cost-cutting.

The message, if there's one beyond the usual despair-laden acceptance of capitalism's grim power, is to not expect much change if Raw, SmackDown and NXT 2.0 aren't for you. If they are, congratulations; the shambling 76-year-old from those Monday Night Raw segments is right on your wavelength!
