Vince McMahon To 'Shake Things Up' On WWE Raw?

Is Vince McMahon about to give WWE Raw a much needed creative overhaul?

A new report from WrestlingNews.co's Paul Davis states that Vince McMahon is about to "shake things up" on Raw, with the WWE Chairman and CEO looking for "out of the box" ideas in order to bolster the show after this weekend's TLC 2020 pay-per-view.

Davis' sources claim that much of the material for this week's Raw was written with Vince's tastes in mind, though the WWE chief is putting the blame on his creative team. The show ended up being a complete ratings disaster, pulling the lowest overall viewership and 18-49 demographic rating in history, losing to the previous week's AEW Dynamite in the process.

Furthermore, WWE personnel are increasingly "walking on eggshells" backstage at the moment, with officials fearing that creative team members may be cut if Raw's numbers don't improve. There's also talk of WWE scrapping some previously-agreed plans for next month's Royal Rumble 2021 show.

WrestleVotes reported earlier in the week that the ratings collapse would lead to "reactionary decisions" being made.

It's easy to treat reports like this with cynicism, given how many times we've heard such things in the past, though it'll be interesting to see how WWE creative reacts nonetheless.
