Vince McMahon ended up wrestling on WrestleMania 38's second show last night, defeating Pat McAfee in his first official WWE match since March 2010.

The bout came together following McAfee's victory over recent McMahon protege Austin Theory, which went down extremely well with the crowd and concluded on the former NFL punter slipping out of an ATL attempt for a roll-up victory.

Vince was at ringside throughout. Antagonised afterwards as Pat called him out, McMahon, after some teasing, pulled off his jacket and shirt, hit the ring, and got ready to fight. McAfee was then attacked by Theory, laying him out before the bell. When he came to, he ran into a couple of Vince clotheslines, got posted by Austin in the corner, ate a punted NFL football to the chest, and was then pinned for the 1-2-3.

McMahon's execution was very much that of a 76-year-old man throughout. Afterwards, the crowd was saved the sight of the Chairman basking in his glory when returning hero 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin hit the ring, eventually dishing out stunners to Austin, McMahon, and even McAfee.

Prior to last night, Vince's last match was the maligned No Holds Barred brawl with Bret Hart at WrestleMania XXVI.
