7. Silence

The next day I went back to the office. I can€™t exactly remember what day of the week it was, but it was somewhere around the middle. Usually from mid-week to Friday, I would have talks with Vince on a daily basis pertaining to how the upcoming RAW was shaping up. However, in this case, something particularly odd was going on. I can remember vividly---not hearing from Vince for the rest of the week. The last conversation was at his house on Monday, or Tuesday, and the last thing we discussed was my last final and desperate pitch. I had not heard another word from Vince since. The Survivor Series was upon us, and I had no clue what we were doing.
