Seriously€”was there ever anybody better as Rick Rude? This is rare in the wrestling business, VERY rare, but Rick Rude was such a natural heel, that you couldn€™t have turned him babyface even if you CRAZY GLUED a baby to his lips. No matter how much you knew that wrestling was scripted---you just hated Rick Rude with a passion! And, maybe that had something to do with the body he possessed---you know---the one you could never have---that he CONTINUED to shove down our throats?! Rude had some CLASSIC battles with Jake Roberts that involved his wife Cheryl, just unforgettable story telling by two of the absolute best in the business. So you have to ask yourself€”why is it that Jake is in the Hall, but, not the €œRavishing One€? Here---I€™ll tell you. Back in 1997, Rude surprised everybody by leaving the WWE and joining rival WCW on a live Nitro. BUT€”here€™s the kicker---RAW had taped their show that week, while Nitro was live, so Rude showed up on NITRO LIVE Monday night, while appearing about an HOUR later on the taped version of RAW!!! Enough to keep him out of the hall? Rick Rude died over 15 years ago due to heart failure. Come on, give him his spot, he deserves it.
