WALTER is set to become a full-time member of WWE's NXT roster for the first time in his career.

It was announced Thursday's episode of NXT UK that the big Austrian is leaving the brand, and will depart following a final match against Nathan Frazer on next week's show. In kayfabe, WWE is going with the narrative that WALTER requested one last NXT UK bout, with General Manager Johnny Saint picking Frazer as the opposition.

Significant time has passed since WALTER last appeared on NXT UK, which has technically been his home brand for the bulk of his WWE run. The former NXT United Kingdom Champion last showed up there in the build to his acclaimed match with Ilja Dragunov last August.

WALTER wrestled for NXT's United States imprint this week, teaming with Imperium stablemates Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel in a defeat to MSK and their shaman, Riddle.

In the past, WALTER has appeared reticent to uproot his life and move to the United States, though it is believed that changing situations in his personal life have led to him softening his stance in recent months.
