WCPW Loaded Episode 10: 10 Awesome Moments
3. Alberto El Patron Makes His WCPW Debut
Previously, the likes of Jay Lethal and Eric Bischoff had been drawn in by the excited buzz WCPW is creating worldwide. Both men were tremendous assets for the company, but neither were fresh off a run with the largest organisation on the planet today. Having just left WWE, Alberto El Patron made his new home in WCPW.
The Mexican's first match since leaving WWE behind, El Patron was eager to embrace the infectious energy of the Newcastle crowd on Loaded. Bursting through the curtain, he was revealed to be El Ligero's opponent to crown a first ever WCPW Internet Champion at Refuse To Lose on October 6.
That was huge news, but nobody could have guessed what was coming next. Adam Blampied and Big Damo crashed the party, causing the main event of Loaded to be bigger than anyone imagined. Fresh off of appearing on shows like Monday Night Raw, Alberto was in the ring on Loaded and ready to wrestle.
It's a statement of intent from WCPW management to sign someone like El Patron, he is one of the biggest free agents in the wrestling world after all.
