1. Alberto El Patron Endorses El Ligero
It must have been disappointing for both Travis Banks and Alberto El Patron to lose out on the WCPW Internet Title. There can only be one initial champion in a belt's lineage, and that man is El Ligero when it comes to WCPW's latest championship gold. It'd therefore be understandable if Banks and El Patron were bitter.
Whereas Travis Banks elected to skip the celebrations, El Patron stuck around to offer his congratulations to a fellow 'Mexican Sensation'. Entering the ring, it looked for a moment like the former WWE star might act aggressively towards Ligero. Instead, El Patron decided to add a classy touch to his latest WCPW performance.
Offering a handshake to the masked man, Alberto then quickly raised El Ligero's arm and allowed him to soak up applause from his adoring public. Ligero is one of the UK's most established performers, and it will mean the world to him that El Patron thought to endorse him.
What a way to kick off that first reign for the WCPW Internet Title.
