7. Gabriel Kidd Gets More Votes Than Prince Ameen
Before Loaded, WCPW fans were encouraged to vote online and decide a fresh challenger for El Ligero's WCPW Internet Title. The choices available were Gabriel Kidd, Prince Ameen and 'The Villain' Marty Scurll. Eventually, it became clear that people wished to see Ligero try to retain his gold against Scurll in a top match capable of main eventing any show worldwide.
Winning out with 65% of the total votes, Scurll did get his crack at the WCPW Internet Title. Fans were able to have a chuckle at the other numbers, especially the one tied to Prince Ameen. Unfortunately for WCPW's wrestling 'royalty', Ameen managed to sway only 5% of voters.
Meanwhile, Ameen's servant Gabriel Kidd amassed an impressive 30%. That won't sit well with the Prince, he will surely make Kidd's life even tougher in WCPW going forward. There's already a rocky relationship between master and 'subordinate'.
Fans adore the obvious talent Kidd shows each time he steps foot in the ring. Still a teenager, the fact he came so close to an established name like Marty Scurll shows how popular he is.
