8. The Rock & Roll Express vs. Ole & Arn Anderson Starrcade: Night of the Skywalkers
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7DNFqgrohI The Rock & Roll Express were the most dominant team in wrestling at the time, while the Anderson brothers were hated due to their involvement in the Four Horsemen. The bout was held inside a cage to stop the other Horsemen interfering. This is one of the best traditional tag team matches, showing why the Andersons were two of the best ring psychologists. Ole and Arn focus on Gibsons arm and Mortons leg. Few teams have ever worked as well as the Andersons and the Rock & Roll Express, slowly building the crowds energy for the eventual hot tags. Morton is beaten to a bloody pulp. The crowd are willing him on but the Andersons wont let him make the tag. A brawl breaks out between the four and, as the referee is trying to regain control, Ole tries to slam Morton. Gibson plants Mortons back with a dropkick, pushing Ole over and allowing the Rock & Roll Express to steal the win.
