Well, WWE Raw Was Pretty Damn Awesome This Week!

The follow-ups from last week€™s debuts were a mixed bag. Apollo Crews is impressive athletically but I struggle to see what role he fills on this roster. He needs to be given the chance to sink or swim opposite someone like Cesaro or Owens to show what he can really do.

Baron Corbin did not wrestle, which was a huge positive. Perhaps WWE have recognised that in-ring action is his weakness. Mind you, his strengths extend to being tall and that is about it, so he is limited in what he can do to be entertaining. This week was about the extent of it.

Enzo & Cass were over again, though obviously far less than last week. WWE wants them to work with the Dudleys, and I fully expect the veterans to put them over, which is the right thing to do.

There is a secret tag team revolution going on in WWE at the moment, one which I feel will explode into life this year, and Enzo & Cass are this generation€™s answer to the New Age Outlaws.

Then there was Bullet Club making their long-awaited debut by coming through the crowd and viciously assaulting The Usos.

It was well executed, but if the Usos are their programme going forward it will be something of a letdown. However, I suspect it is more than that.

While it might not be the Shield vs. Bullet Club feud fans were hoping for, Anderson, Gallows, and Styles working with Reigns and his cousins is still a strong spot for the newcomers, and I believe that is where WWE are heading with this. The duo certainly looked impressive, either way.
