8. Brock Lesnar Vs. Cody
Lesnar doesn't need to be thrust into any major stories from the get-go. He doesn't need to be established, he doesn't need to find his footing. He is Brock f*cking Lesnar, after all. Any time he steps into the ring, it is a big-time match.
Say it quietly, but the same is now true of Cody. Since leaving WWE in 2016, the Son of a Son of a Plumber has created quite the aura, becoming one of the major driving forces behind the creation of AEW and reinventing the perception of him along the way. What's more, is that Cody retains the naive bluster of a man constantly trying to prove himself. With Brock in town, what price Cody being the first to challenge him?
Brock vs. Cody has never happened before either.
Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes would be a big-time match at whichever pay-per-view comes first, and the match should go as many fans would want. In short, Brock would do to Cody what Brodie Lee did to him in their first TNT Championship match, namely obliterate him in a matter of moments, giving Cody time off to do enjoy being a father.
AEW Brock Lesnar wouldn't be WWE Brock Lesnar, but the violence would remain. Cody must be his first official victim.
