What is CM Punk's favourite memento from a career spent wrestling across the globe? A WWE Title replica, maybe? Perhaps Punk framed a pair of trunks worn for his first WrestleMania appearance, or treasures something from his younger ROH days?

Nope.

During a Reddit AMA, Punk revealed that his favourite keepsake is actually something that belonged to an obscure low card act from the early-1990s. Older fans may recall Steve Keirn's time as Skinner in the WWF. The alligator man was a dirtier, smellier, rogue version of Crocodile Dundee between 1991-1993, but he was little more than jobber foil for bigger stars during his run.

Keirn later found his place in the WWE system as a trainer at OVW, and that's where he met Punk. Before Punk was called up to the main roster, ol' Skinner gave him the gator paw he'd wear around his neck. That's something Mr. 'Changing The Culture' still keeps safe to this day.

The paw takes pride of place in Punk's house, which is pretty weird, and it's proof that Skinner's legacy lives on. See, those combined five minutes in Royal Rumble matches weren't for nothing.
