What Really Happened When Braun Strowman & Brock Lesnar Shot On Each Other

Strowman and Lesnar got super stiff at Royal Rumble 2018.

Brock Lesnar defended his WWE Universal Championship in a Triple Threat with Braun Strowman and Kane at Royal Rumble 2018. An unremarkable bout, but a memorable one thanks to the stiff shots traded by 'The Beast Incarnate' and 'Monster Among Men' during it.

Strowman accidentally potatoed Lesnar with a knee to the face so Brock cashed an immediate receipt, battering his opponent with a very stiff, very real right hand. A smaller man would've been sent to his gave, but not Braun.

Fortunately, things fizzled out when they got backstage, as revealed by Strowman in a recent interview with talkSPORT:-

"We laughed about it afterwards. It is what it is. We got to the back and I said ‘Hey, my bad,’ he said the same thing and we went about our business. We’re both grown-ups, we both knew what we were getting into and at the end of the day, we’re both very dominant males and neither of us wanted to give in an inch, so in the end, we took an inch from each other."

Braun continued, saying that he treated his matches with Lesnar like real fights, calling back to the time they traded similar blows in the 2016 Rumble.

Will we see them slug it out again? Maybe, if Brock fancies another shot at the Universal Championship...
