What Was Miro/Rusev's Favourite WWE Match?

The AEW star instantly reached for one specific memory...

Rusev Roman Reigns Hell In A Cell
WWE

AEW's Miro told Chris Jericho that a Hell In A Match match with Roman Reigns was his favourite WWE match on a recent episode of 'Talk Is Jericho'.

The pair clashed inside the cage during the 2016 version of the event; as Rusev, Miro actually opened the pay-per-view with Reigns. That particular HIAC card was headlined by Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair, but Rusev vs. Roman still managed to stick out.

At least, it did in Miro's mind. He told Jericho that it was "so much fun" to call things on the fly with Reigns - they did plan out some major spots, obviously, but both guys wanted to experiment and feel the live crowd in Boston before committing to a solid script.

It remains Miro's fave WWE match to this day.

The podcast with Jericho is worth listening to generally. Miro talked openly about everything from leaving WWE and joining AEW to who his best opponents were (including Reigns) and more. There are even some hilarious stories about WWE disorganisation and playing light-hearted ribs on Vince McMahon that did not go down well with the boss.
