What do WWE, Marvel, Nickelback, Vin Diesel and more have in common? This!

2021, whilst definitely slightly less weird than 2020, was still a strange year for many.

Few things seemed certain in January, but one thing was for sure: WhatCulture continued pumping out content, and you continued gobbling it up in droves. This list compiles the 10 most-read articles of the entire year, and it's quite an eclectic mix of topics.

Everything from wrestlers conversing (a little too loudly) with one another during their matches to shocking movie CGI moments that left everyone stunned gets explored here. Also, people loved to sling mud at Nickelback, but the music side of things wasn't all negative - there was some love for the most flawless rock albums too.

Elsewhere, things got serious when WhatCulture sadly reported on the deaths of far too many WWE and AEW stars. A little more light-relief came in the form of articles that discussed the best TV you can watch and wrestling matches that captured moments you definitely weren't supposed to see though.

Fingers crossed everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year. Here's to even more content in 2022. Thanks for reading!

Writer: Jamie Kennedy.

Hits: 543k.

If you've ever wanted to see Brock Lesnar lose his sh*t at Braun Strowman in-ring, or hear Samoa Joe play director on live TV, then this is the collection for you. These wrestlers defo took the old-school phrase, "Call it in the ring, brother" to heart.

Who knows if WWE's ring mics are more sensitive than they've ever been, of if the workers included just didn't know how far their voices were carrying during matches. Whatever the case, this is worth checking out for some subtle Shawn Michaels-led genius during one of his biggest bouts.
