Which Ex-WWE Star 'Buried The Hatchet' With Randy Orton?

Years of heat evaporated within five minutes.

Bubba Ray Dudley

Bully Ray opened up to talk about long-standing heat with Randy Orton on a recent edition of his 'Busted Open Radio' show.

The beef between both men stemmed from miscommunication in a tag-team match towards the start of Randy's run in Evolution. He and Batista worked The Dudley Boyz on a house show, and things didn't go well - Orton ended the match with an injured ankle, Bubba Ray damaged his neck and even Batista got caught up in things with a minor injury of his own.

Randy and Bubba blamed one another for what happened and didn't talk for well over 10 years. Then, when The Dudleyz rejoined WWE in 2015, they instantly reconnected, realised they'd matured since those days and that carrying around all that resentment wasn't healthy.

Both men owned up to over-reacting and became fast friends. Now, they get to trade Christmas cards, and that's something Bully thinks is pretty cool.

It only took five minutes of conversation between two grown men to bury the hatchet and move on as colleagues and pals. That's something Dudley was delighted to do.
