Which WWE Star Just Signed A Deal OUTSIDE The Company?

TV and film awaits this female star...

Sonya Deville WWE

Variety is reporting that WWE's Sonya Deville has inked a deal with Imagine Artist Management to represent her outside the company.

Imagine, which launched in July 2019, will seek out opportunities for Deville in film and television beyond pro wrestling. It doesn't look like she's willing to settle for 'Total Divas' or being asked onto set for one of WWE's in-house movie projects, put it that way.

Sonya wants more.

This is certainly an interesting development, and it shows the freedom WWE stars have to explore other options outside the promotion's walls. This sort of thing would've been impossible to foresee for a mid-carder like Deville several years ago.

Variety wrote that Imagine Artist Management recently expanded into other areas beyond the core TV and film production business. Kids & family, documentaries, international TV and live theatre are all available avenues for Sonya now she's under Imagine's umbrella.

Branching out isn't a new thing for Deville. She and on-screen partner Mandy Rose unveiled their 'DaMandyz Donutz' brand last year. They've launched a YouTube channel and a line of merchandise to back it up.

Expect a SmackDown push if Sonya gains some crossover notoriety.
