Who Else Was Originally In WWE's New Day Faction?

It's a good thing this didn't happen...

It's genuinely difficult to think of WWE's New Day faction as having more than three members.

Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are the only guys who seem to fit, and they've been more like brothers than mere on screen teammates over the past six years. Amazingly though, E told Corey Graves on 'After The Bell' that other names were considered for the group in 2014.

What's more, E admits he's still intrigued to find out what would've happened had other faces been part of the crew.

So, who was going to be involved? None other than Damien Sandow and Alicia Fox, that's who. Both of those workers fit the outcast profile New Day were building during early promos, and they came really close to making up the numbers.

E revealed that New Day was originally going to be a "revolving door" of misused talents - WWE wanted to see who would stick.

In retrospect, it's a good thing that neither Sandow nor Fox joined up with E, Kingston and Woods. That latter trio went on to become legends, and they might not have done that whilst balancing some sort of nWo 'B' team flavour.
