Who Made WWE's King Of The Ring & Queens Crown Tournament Finals?
The finals are set for WWE Crown Jewel 2021 this Thursday.
WWE has determined the finals for its King Of The Ring and Queen's Crown tournaments, with the last two semi-finals playing out on last night's episode of Raw.
Xavier Woods will meet Finn Balor to determine this year's KOTR. This was set when Woods (who has coveted the crown for a long time) felled Jinder Mahal on Raw, doing so after hitting his rope-walk elbow drop, and comes following Balor's win over Sami Zayn on last week's SmackDown semi-final.
Woods and Balor defeated Ricochet and Cesaro in last week's quarter-finals.
The first ever Queen's Crown, meanwhile, will be contested by Zelina Vega and Doudrop. Vega finalised her spot by defeating Carmella on SmackDown, following up on her quarter-final win over Toni Storm. Doudrop defeated Natalya in the opening round before scoring a surprise pin on Shayna Baszler last night, turning an attempted Kirifuda Clutch around on the former NXT Women's Champion by rolling her shoulders onto the mat.
Queen's Crown has been widely criticised for its lack of ring-time over the past few weeks. This continued last night, with Doudrop vs. Baszler going just 2:50.
Both finals will be contested at Crown Jewel 2021 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this Thursday (21 October).
