Roxanne Perez has won WWE's latest NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, defeating Tiffany Stratton in the finals.

The bout went down on last night's episode of NXT 2.0. Perez felled Stratton, her heavily-gimmicked opponent, after rolling away from a Moonsault, allowing her to capitalise with Pop Rocks for the pinfall. Presented with her trophy afterwards, Perez has now punched her ticket for a future NXT Women's Championship shot.

Cora Jade celebrated with Roxanne after the bell. This prompted Toxic Attraction to come out, led by Women's Champion Mandy Rose, who warned the tournament winner it would be all downhill for her leading into their match. A brawl broke out towards the segment's end, with Indi Hartwell evening the odds for the babyfaces and helping them run Toxic Attraction off.

Lash Legend and Kiana James fell to Perez on her road to the final. Rose remains the only wrestler to beat Roxanne one-on-one on WWE programming since her 14 April NXT Level Up debut, with their sole singles match taking place on the 26 April NXT 2.0.

WWE has not yet announced a date for Rose vs. Perez. Considered a genuine pro wrestling prodigy at 20 years old, the challenger has been signed to WWE since March.
