Why Cesaro Could Appear On AEW Dynamite THIS WEEK

Could we see Claudio Castagnoli this Wednesday night?

Having departed WWE a matter of days ago, Cesaro could realistically appear on AEW Dynamite this coming Wednesday. For that matter, the former United States Champion could turn up wherever he wants, whenever he wants.

While the vast majority of talents who leave WWE have to wait out a non-compete period - usually a 30-day period for NXT talents, and a 90-day period for main roster names - that is now the case for the Swiss Superman.

Presumably now set to revert to using his real name of Claudio Castagnoli, the 41-year-old has no such non-compete clause in place due to how his WWE deal naturally expired. As such, there are zero restrictions in place to stop Castagnoli from wrestling somewhere today, tomorrow or whenever he decides to step back inside the squared circle.

Of course, many immediately thought of the prospect of seeing the seven-time WWE Tag Team Champion in All Elite Wrestling as soon as it became public that he'd exited WWE. Given his reputation for being one of the greatest in-ring workers on the planet, plus a genuinely lovely fella who is so often praised by his peers, logic would suggest that Claudio is likely to be on the radar of Tony Khan.

That said, there are plenty of other places where this hugely talented star could resurface in the wrestling world, for Castagnoli is not going to be short of offers right now.
