Why Cesaro Is Finally Getting A WWE Push
7. The Fans Have Been Wanting It For Years
While WWE is seemingly finally getting behind Cesaro in a big way, the vast majority of wrestling fans have long been clamouring for the company do make the Swiss into a bona fide main event player.
For some, they've been rooting for Cesaro as far back as his days in the likes of Ring of Honor, Chikara and PWG. Even back then, it was abundantly clear that this was a special talent who was destined to do amazing things in the pro wrestling business - if afforded the chance, that is.
In WWE, Cesaro has one United States Championship, seven Tag Team Title reigns and an André the Giant Memorial Trophy to his name. But let's face it, at 40 years of age and with nearly 21 years of in-ring experience under his belt, Cesaro should have had far more singles success in Vince McMahon's promotion.
That's not Cesaro's fault, of course, and the fans have recognised the Swiss Cyborg as one of the best in the business for years now - to the point that wrestling audiences are eager to go nuts for Cesaro at the slightest opportunity, regardless of how many times WWE has dropped the ball with him.
