Jeff Hardy has revealed that he "almost felt offended" by WWE's Hall Of Fame 2022 offer before leaving the promotion and turning up in AEW.

The ex-WWE man told his brother Matt's new podcast that there was just no way he was accepting the pitch or going into the Hall Of Fame this year. In fact, as he explained on the pod, WWE's offer felt "completely wrong" and like it came at the wrong time.

Going further, Jeff admitted that HOF induction has "never really meant that much to me". That's also why he decided to give the company "a hard no" when they asked if he'd fancy going in. The 44 year old still believes that he has a lot to offer as an in-ring talent, and he's not ready to start thinking about hanging up the boots quite yet.

That's what Hall Of Fame induction would've meant to Hardy.

Jeff figures that WWE would've placed him on one of their legends deals if he did agree to be honoured, and he didn't want that. He's happy to be back by his sibling's side in All Elite.
