The popular ring announcer has been absent for several weeks.

Ring announcer JoJo has been absent from her usual role on Monday Night Raw recently, leading to all kinds of speculation on her WWE status.

Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything to worry about with regards to her departure, as PW Insider have reported that she has been taken off the road for "personal issues," and that there's no heat on her whatsoever. She's still under contract, and there's no danger of her being let go.

JoJo's last WWE appearance came on the New Year's Eve episode of Raw. There's no word on when she might return to television, and Mike Rome is expected to continue filling in for her in the interim. In addition, JoJo's name isn't currently present in the name of ring announcers and commentators set to work Sunday's Royal Rumble 2019 pay-per-view.

JoJo has been with the company since May 2013. Debuting as part of the Total Divas reality show, she made her main roster debut one month later, at the age of 19, signing Tons of Funk's entrance theme on an episode of Main Event. She transitioned to a ring announcing role later that year, and was promoted to Raw, SmackDown, and pay-per-views in 2015.
