If in doubt, call Shane-O-Mac.

It seems like almost parody by this point in time to suggest that WWE would try to recover from record low ratings by bringing the McMahon family back to TV, but that is indeed the case for tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. Well, kind of.

We heard earlier today how Shane McMahon will be appearing on tonight’s outing for the red brand, and now Dave Meltzer is claiming that the reason for Shane-O-Mac’s return to WWE TV is to stop tonight’s Raw from hitting a new all-time low.

Yes, in 2020, in the midst of the ongoing global bastard (Adam Wilbourn™), as WWE hits a massive creative slump, the sports entertainment juggernaut’s answer to all of their problems is to bring Shane back to TV.

The last time audiences saw Shane was back on the October 4, 2019 edition of SmackDown, where the former European Champion lost a Career vs. Career match against Kevin Owens. Since then, McMahon has been kept off of WWE programming.

Elsewhere on Raw tonight, as previously reported, WWE has promised that a new stable will be debuting, Randy Orton will be on hand to confront WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, Ric Flair is again in attendance, and Apollo Crews will be defending the United States Championship against MVP.
