Why The Alexa Bliss Character Is WWE's Worst Current Creation

Alexa Bliss Braun Strowman Mixed Match Challenge

The line drawn between Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt goes through the since-released Braun Strowman, and starts, bewilderingly, at 2018's rather charming Mixed Match Challenge.

Bliss and Strowman's act was as WWE stupid as WWE stupid gets (she's SMALL, and he's BIG, what's gonna happen?!) but their chemistry as a duo was undeniable. It extended to a romance angle that never really paid off with anything meaningful, despite something of a bond existing between the two whenever the characters interacted.

Or so we thought.

Unexpectedly appearing as a manifestation of Strowman's desires (or f*cking Sister Abigail herself to read some of the batsh*t tweets from the time) a spookier version of Bliss came between the former Wyatt Family members at 2020's abysmal The Horror Show At Extreme Rules. Her appearance was the takeaway headline from their useless Swamp Fight, but the far reaching implications were much worse. Her head had been turned by Wyatt, and like all the rest to trudge the same path, the only way from here was down.

First to go was her friendship with Nikki Cross, destroyed by an obsession she'd developed with The Fiend. Next was her age, seemingly, as she started acting for all intents and purposes like a child, which was less than ideal when Wyatt's alter ego was acknowledged to be infatuated by her during the start of his programme with Randy Orton. It got messy in a hurry, and not just because WWE started spilling black goo everywhere.
