Why Triple H MISSED Last Night's WWE Raw
WWE's head of creative was nowhere to be found at last night's Raw.
Paul 'Triple H' Levesque was absent from last night's WWE Raw show after testing positive for COVID-19.
PWInsider's Mike Johnson reported as much before the episode. Although WWE's head of creative is understood to be "feeling well and in good spirits", he won't be performing his professional duties until he has "cleared the company's current protocol."
Despite all this, Levesque remained in contact with WWE's producers and writers. 'The Game' felt good about the pre-Raw creative meeting too.
WWE hopes to have Triple H back as soon as he tests negative, though whether or not that will mean this week's SmackDown, next Monday's Raw, or a later date remains to be seen.
Last night's Raw was the first main roster show Levesque has missed since ascending to power in July. The 53-year-old ascended to WWE's lead creative position in the wake of disgraced former CEO and Chairman Vince McMahon's July resignation, having already been promoted to Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, and has enjoyed a well-received start, penning what many perceive to be a revolution of WWE's main roster programming.
All the best to Triple H in his COVID-19 recovery.
