"Why won't WWE just push Cesaro?!" has been a question asked by many a workrate-focused wrestling fan over the past few years, and wrestling legend Arn Anderson has come through with a new theory on his ARN podcast.

Speaking on an episode based around Extreme Rules 2015, where Cesaro and Tyson Kidd lost to The New Day, Anderson claimed that not only is 'The Swiss Superman' "not a favourite guy" behind the scenes, but WWE has also banned him from executing his most exciting moves.

“He’s not a favourite guy, as you know, of the front office, for whatever reason that is," he said (h/t The Sportster). "They’re the only ones that know because everyone else across the planet seems to think he’s a Superstar. But he continued to get leaned on to stop doing all that stuff [impressive moves] as a heel. It was just too flashy and all that stuff."

Anderson, a WWE Hall-of-Famer, said that the promotion limiting Cesaro's moveset was tantamount to "cheating the audience."

Now 39 years old, the uber-talented Cesaro has slotted into a solid midcard role alongside Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura. A bigger push may never be on the horizon.
