Why You Should Support British Wrestling

British wrestling is on the up and up, and here's why...

WhatCulture Wrestling's own Simon Miller thinks British wrestling is great, and he wants you to feel the same. After all, why wouldn't you? With so many great companies out there like PROGRESS, Lucha Britannia, ICW and WCPW (yes, Miller has forgiven WhatCulture despite being speared senseless by Primate many moons ago), there's really no excuse.

Some of the best wrestling on the planet is right here on your doorstep, so why go anywhere else?

If ICW filling out massive arenas like Glasgow's SSE Hydro and producing some of the most consistently entertaining shows around doesn't float your boat, then there's always the 'Chapter' format of PROGRESS or the episodic drama of WCPW to get you pumped.

Miller believes more people need to realise just how good the UK scene is. You can trust him, just look at how happy he is when talking all things British. Besides, that guy has some serious muscle, so we wouldn't argue with him.

Even WWE have started to recognise the UK as a hotbed for pro wrestling. Soon, the biggest company in the entire industry will look to produce their own TV show dedicated to British wrestling, something that seemed impossible to imagine just a few years ago.

So, get down your local promotion's next show and get excited, because your next favourite wrestler may just be on one of those cards.
