Following his shock appearance at this past weekend's NJPW Resurgence show, it's now been announced that Will Ospreay will be back in in-ring action this Saturday.

Ospreay will be defending the Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion against Doug Williams at Revolution Pro's ninth anniversary event, which takes place from Manchester's Victoria Warehouse.

To the surprise of the wrestling world, Will Ospreay made his return at NJPW Resurgence way sooner than most expected. Previously, the Aerial Assassin had vacated the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion in May due to suffering a neck injury.

Not only did Ospreay appear at Resurgence, he revealed how he's medically cleared to wrestle, then proclaimed himself as the 'real' IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and called out current IWGP Champ Shingo Takagi, Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, the general "dweebs of AEW" and plenty of others.

The Englishman ruled himself out of competing in this year's G1 Climax, instead stating how he was going to compete on the Los Angeles-based NJPW Strong show and defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship that he never lost.
