One of the hottest stars in wrestling will soon be debuting for the most successful independent wrestling promotion in the U.S., as Ring of Honor has announced the impending arrival of "The Aerial Assassin" Will Ospreay.

According the ROH's latest video update, New Japan star Ospreay will be competing for the company during its upcoming "Reach for the Sky" tour, which will take place in the UK in November. No opponents have been announced yet, but it is expected that Ospreay will compete at all three shows - November 18 in Liverpool, November 19 in Leicester, and November 20 in London.

Despite New Japan Pro Wrestling's association with Ring of Honor, Ospreay's upcoming work for the company comes as a surprise given his supposed relationship with EVOLVE, ROH's top competitor. Last month during a spoken word engagement, Paul Heyman presented Ospreay with an EVOLVE contract on behalf of the promotion's owner, Gabe Sapolsky. Ospreay hugged Heyman, seemingly indicating assent, but according to The Wrestling Observer, he has not yet signed any deal with EVOLVE.

2016 has been a great year for former PROGRESS Wrestling Champion Ospreay. In April, he signed with New Japan Pro Wrestling and in June, he became the youngest man to ever win the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Though he was unable to capture the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title, his tournament match with Ricochet has received incredible press over the past couple of months, making the young Englishman a star.

Ospreay also recently made his WCPW debut in a knockout triple threat match competing against Noam Dar and El Ligero in the best match of the new promotion so far...
