Will WWE Book THIS Women's Retirement Match?
Charlotte Flair says she'd be game for retiring this ex-WWE female star.
Charlotte Flair says she'd "be honoured" to work a retirement match with former WWE trailblazer Alundra Blayze.
The former SmackDown Women's Champ was responding to something Blayze said when promoting her book earlier this year. Flair told TV Insider that she'd be right up for working something out with the legend, and locking horns in Alundra's final pro wrestling match ever.
Over to you, WWE.
Blayze turned 60 in February, but she still has an appetite for pulling on the tights and going at it in-ring one more time. She'd love if Charlotte was her opponent - Alundra has lavished praise on Flair countless times over the past couple of years, and called her one of the best workers in the biz.
Charlotte responded in kind by putting over the Hall Of Famer's legacy, and accepting her challenge. It remains to be seen if this is something Triple H or Vince McMahon would be interested in at all though. They're already busy working on another current star vs. legend story (Becky Lynch opposing newly-turned-heel Trish Stratus).
Would WWE actually book Alundra Blayze vs. Charlotte Flair too? Watch this space.
