Women's Champion Becky Lynch Vs. Alexa Bliss Signed For WWE TLC 2017
Will Bliss make good on her second shot?
Though Alexa Bliss may have failed to capture the Smackdown Women's Title in Glasgow, she'll get another shot at the gold at the TLC Pay-Per-View, when she takes on champion Becky Lynch in a singles match.
After Becky was crowned the inaugural champion at Backlash, Bliss quickly emerged as her first challenger. The former gymnast was scheduled to get her shot at No Mercy, but a medical issue put Becky on the shelf and forced her to miss the show. Bliss took on Naomi in an impromptu match and lost, but a subsequent victory in a rematch qualified her for the title match.
That match came on the November 8 episode of Smackdown, which aired from Glasgow, Scotland. Though Becky managed to retain the title, the match wasn't without controversy. She trapped Bliss in her Dis-Arm-Her finishing hold, but Bliss managed to get her feet on the bottom rope. When the referee didn't notice and force a break to the hold, Bliss tapped out. Since then, she's been demanding another shot at the belt.
TLC airs live on the WWE Network on December 4 at 8:00 PM ET.
