WrestleMania 30 Results: 10 People Who Will Profit Most
8. The Undertaker
A perverse suggestion perhaps, but in making it seem like the WWE screwed him out of his biggest accolade to an unworthy opponent, 'Taker will probably enjoy a bigger boost in profile - or at least in terms of his mythology - than if he had been allowed to go out with the streak intact. As the old adage goes champions should go out on their back; it's better for the WWE, and having jaws hanging on the floor has been a profitable move in the past, and will be again. You have to say kudos to the Undertaker for accepting the creative decision, and there can be little doubt that he did... Even if he doesn't return for another last fight against Sting at WrestleMania 31, 'Taker can leave with his head held high - an image that is markedly removed from how he left the arena after his defeat - because he didn't go down disgracefully. Yes, his power and balance might be gone (though it did seem the emotion of the occasion got the better of him) but in gifting the Streak to a part-timer unexpectedly, the WWE ensured that 'Taker will be remembered at the top of his game. The king of WrestleMania might be dead for now, but his legacy and his mythology will endure now more than ever, because the WWE effectively drew the blame.
