WrestleMania 30 Results: 10 People Who Will Profit Most

6. The WWE

That opening sequence, uniting three of the biggest stars of the industry, from Hulk as the man who took the sports entertainment mainstream to Stone Cold and The Rock as the talents who took it to the highest of heights, was about as memorable as Main Event fans have seen. And though some of the results might leave a bitter taste in the mouth, and some of the victors might not exactly be the future of the company in the long-run, the production and the framing, and the entertainment factor (at least in simple terms of impact) made it one of the more memorable WrestleManias in recent years. But it isn't just about that. In purely financial terms, the WWE made a win, with almost $11m in ticket revenue, and no doubt an astronomical sum from PPV sign-ups, and in broader business terms, the company presented an event with the kind of thrills and twists that generates unprecedented column inches across the web, including the more mainstream outlets who wouldn't necessarily spread the good word as much throughout the year. The end of the Streak is a major publicity boon for the company, even if it generates some heat - that was no doubt the point - and for once the company seems to have listened to the fans for two of the big decisions, even if they pulled the mat out from under everyone for the biggest one of all.
