WrestleMania 33: 10 Matches That Should Have Happened

2. Charlotte Flair Vs Bayley (Raw Women's Title)

The muddled manner in which Raw's women have been handled has hijacked a number of massive WrestleMania moments, and it's particularly frustrating considering how recently the table was so perfectly set.

Following Charlotte's victory over Bayley at the Royal Rumble in January, her pay-per-view streak was intact and defeat hadn't harmed 'The Hugger' one iota with the 'Show of Shows' still months away.

Though its admirable to want to feature the best Raw has to offer (and Nia Jax) all in one match, the bloated fatal four-way highlights exactly what the company recklessly blew through when putting the title on Bayley back in February.

Since sacrificing that huge moment, the company have also ended Charlotte's streak, and even diluted the natural sympathy embedded within the Bayley persona, leading to occasional boos for one of most organic babyfaces to ever come through the system.

Giving Bayley 'one last chance' at Charlotte at WrestleMania 33 would have been hugely dramatic, and handing Flair her first ever pay-per-view loss would have likely come close to matching the incredible atmosphere felt in Brooklyn when she unseated Sasha Banks for the NXT Title in 2015.

A Banks heel turn the next night on the brand new champion could have made several months of follow-up matches too.
